At Helping Hands, we understand the importance of comfort and familiarity in nurturing a sense of well-being. Our dedicated caregivers provide tailored personal care services, ensuring seniors can age gracefully within the cherished walls of their home. From assistance with bathing, grooming, personal care and peri care to medication management and reminders, meal preparation and planning and promoting mental and emotional well-being. We strive to foster a secure and dignified environment.

Homecare fees range from $28-$35 per hour.
Minimum 2 hours per visit.
*The fee is based on the level of care needed, and also determined between the care coordinator and the client at the in-home visit. There are no surprises!
*Emergency Visits-Homecare/Wellness Checks $35-$40 per hour, depending on level of care needed during the call

 Companionship and transportation

Companionship is about sharing smiles, stories, and simple moments of joy. At Helping Hands, we know the difference a friendly face can make. Our caring team not only helps with tasks but also provides genuine companionship. We're here to chat, listen, and keep you company, making every day a bit brighter and less lonely.

Companionship care fee is $28 per hour. Minimum 2 hours per visit.


Transportation is supported rides to and from appointments, procedures, outings or running errands with care and assistance. 
Our licensed drivers will help get you ready upon pick up as well as get you settled back at home afterwards.
We take notes and speak to medical professionals and make sure loved ones are contacted with updates as needed, pick up prescriptions, groceries and mail.

Transportation fee is $30 per hr plus .72 per km outside of a 2 km radios
*we can drive your personal vehicle, no km fee and a lower rate of $29 per hr.

 Housekeeping and handyman services

Keeping a tidy home is essential for comfort and peace of mind. At Helping Hands, we offer housekeeping services tailored to your needs. Our caring team ensures your living space is clean, organized, and safe. We offer weekly or bi-weekly cleaning, once a month or a one time only clean.  Top to bottom, moving in or out, organizing or a basic clean. Let us handle the chores, allowing you to relax and enjoy your home without the stress of daily upkeep. A clean and orderly environment contributes to a happier, healthier lifestyle, and we're here to help make that possible!
*We bring our own supplies, unless specific products are preferred.

Housekeeping $40 per hour. Minimum 2 hours per visit.

Handyman services $50 per hour

From our highly skilled carpenter, and jack of all trades!
Over 30 yrs experience as well as 15 yrs experience with Manitoba hydro
Carpentry work, Fabrication and creating of ramps for wheelchair and commode access Indoor/outdoor, fencing, decks, railings, basement renos, light electrical, light plumbing.  As well as yard work and snow removal, small landscaping jobs, furniture assembly, or moving furniture. Dump runs with an additional mileage fee of .72 per km and a $20 dump fee for full loads.
*materials for jobs are an extra cost.  A quote is given and jobs are agreed upon before any fee is charged.
